- Mud Volcano is an active volcano that literally spits mud.
- Steaming Cliffs is the hottest pool in the reserve with 122 degrees and reaches up to 3 meters during the boiling point.
- Cooking Pools is a historically black pool that the Rotorua Maori used to cook food with a constant 930 degrees temperature, it can cook vegetables. Don’t worry it won’t taint your food.
- Medicine Lake is a place of healing that was proven for more than a hundred years.
