Paihia Dive has offered diving excursions and other water activities since 1978. We are a PADI 5-star resort located in the Paihia dock. Our Dive Trips
The Rainbow Warrior is one of our main diving locations and it has been running our dive trips there for the past 24 years. The Warrior lies now as an artificial reef in the Cavalli Islands and has been home to a lot of aquatic life. Therefore it is renowned for one of the world’s premier dive sites.
Another site is the Canterbury Wreck. The Navy Frigate Canterbury F421 that lies under the Deep Water Cove gives a breathtaking view. The first levels up to the upper deck are smoothly accessed which are good for beginners.
Reef diving in Bay of Islands is unlike anything in the world. We have a sub-tropical temperature that hosts different kinds of marine life. This is because of the current of the East Auckland and the East Australian current. You will find fishes like Lord Howe Coral fish, Kermadec Scalyfins, Toadstool Grooper, and Green Wrasse to name a few.
