Gengy’s motif and style came from the chronicles of the Mongol Empire. The Mongol Empire is known to be the greatest land conquest in world history, capturing most of Europe, Asia, and Africa.
After winning battles, all armies of the Mongol Empire throw a huge victory feast. With their shields turned upside down over roaring campfires, they cook newly discovered meats and vegetables native to the conquered lands. The descendants of these superb warriors have passed down this Victory Meal. Gengy’s Restaurants now, in turn, have modeled this concept of fresh and truly flavorful style of cuisine. It has approached the service in a modernized and healthful way.

It was first opened as a family owned business in Hamilton in the year 2002. Now, we expanded our craft serving people sumptuous meals around the North Island. We now have 7 branches. Gengy’s Restaurant offers a wide range of choices from appetizing starters, to popular main dishes and to sumptuous desserts. With our Main Feast Menu, you can choose from the wide selection of meat, seafood, marinades, and vegetable. In addition, you can also add some oils, sauces, and spices. Give your creation to the chef who will cook your meals to perfection. You may also add side dishes of your choice from the servery to your meal! Repeat this process as many times as you want.

Are you open 24 hours everyday?
The restaurant does not run 24 hours every day but we are open from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM, every Sunday to Thursday. We are also open from 5:00PM to 10PM, every Saturdays and Fridays.
