Waterfront Dining in Bay of Islands

Alfresco’s Restaurant and Bar has first opened in October 2008. It is a family owned restaurant situated near the waterfront in Paihia. From then on, we established this resto ourselves as the favourite bar and resto by all visitors and locals in the Bay of Islands.

Our aim is to serve great food and offer an outstanding dining experience. We combine the best of New Zealand’s fresh products as well as international ingredients to bring out the best of our dishes. It, therefore, reflects our customers’ satisfaction. Our team of professionals is knowledgeable of their craft in the kitchen. We provide a wide selection of seafood, meats, and greens on our menu.

We have a fully licensed bar that serves a variety of wine New Zealand has to offer. Also, we have beers and international selections that will go well with your meal. Our happy hour starts from 3 pm- 6 pm with Draught Monteith’s Beer or our House Wine for your option.

Also, Alfresco’s is available for venue hire. We cater to any functions and events. Our head chef can collaborate with you to design a suitable menu for your group. You may contact us for group bookings and information.
