Serving Latin Style Cuisine in Paihia, Bay of Islands
El Cafe is a blend of awesome latin style cuisine and refreshing selection of coffee. We cater to serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and afternoon snacks. Also, our place is homey, with a touch of Latin American decor as a theme.
Our Cafe is located on Kings Road in Paihia, Bay of Islands.
We are near to accommodations and backpacker hostels in the area. Furthermore, we are also near the bay area. We’re a perfect spot for breakfast or lunch while soaking up the sun and enjoy the view of the bay down to the beach.
Mexican Breakfast
Our customers would always flock in the morning for some Mexican breakfast. Try our pulled pork ciabatta with the egg cooked to perfection. One factor why our cafe is unique is that we mix kiwi ingredients and pair it with Latin cooking.
We also serve vegetarian and gluten-free meals. Try our vegetarian quesadilla. It’s a flour tortilla filled with slow-cooked black beans, sauteed mushrooms, sweet corn and cheese. Pressed on the grill served with El Cafe’s signature chipotle sauce and sour cream.
BBQ Catering
We also do BBQ catering for groups at local hostels. Our Chilean style of cooking is authentic and ensures to serve all guests. In addition, we have a salad table on top of the wide range of meat available.
